This shiftknob is hand-made from solid acetal copolymer. This material is a hard plastic that will not abosorb heat in the summer and won’t freeze in the winter like typical metal knobs. This provides an extremely comfortable knob all year long.
This knob is made with a custom-machined brass thread insert for an extra 100 grams of weight. This makes a significant improvement in shift feel, while also providing stronger threads which resist stripping better. The brass thread insert is machined to incorporate a boot holder for the stock shift boot.
